Abstract

Digitalisation has revolutionised many sectors, from the private to the more professional, changing the relationship between man and machine. Even the health sector is not exempt from this revolution. In fact, there has been a shift from the classic doctor-patient relationship with a paternalistic vision, to one where there is greater awareness and interaction between the two figures, generating a patient-centred model. Among the various innovations that have appeared in recent years, the authors have chosen to explore how digitisation and new technologies are changing healthcare, focusing on the use of chatbots in the medical field and the forms of interaction with them.
